Children's grief in school, daycare, nursery, etc.

What suggestions do you have that helped or would have helped, your child through their grief in school, daycare, nursery, etc.?

  1. I believe it would have benefited my five-year-old daughter for her counselors at school to have been more knowledgeable about SIDS and how children react both physically and physiologically to the loss of a younger infant sibling. They, like most of the population do not have a clue. (3/6/98)

  2. I think what would have helped me more is counseling! I was 8 years old and I saw my little sister die. Now I am 18 and still having flashbacks of that, especially closer to the date that it happened! Counseling probably would have helped my grieving process!
